Stantec in Orlando invites an Intern/Co-op to join our team and gain hands-on experience with infrastructure projects. You will work alongside engineers on water and environmental initiatives and support local and national programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project administration: write reports, gather information, draft proposals and track costs.
• Support technical staff with data collection, analysis and calculations for design projects.
• Gain exposure to CAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Perform construction observations and assist with field work.
• Handle other engineering/administrative duties as required.

Your Opportunity

As an Intern/Co-op, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to infrastructure projects which may include water/wastewater piping, pump stations, water/wastewater treatment facilities, etc. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken civil engineering or environmental engineering courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to support a number of exciting local and national projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports
• Assisting technical staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, preparing reports, and performing calculations for design projects
• Gaining exposure and performing basic tasks in CAD, Revit, and other design programs
• Performing construction observations and assisting with field work, as needed
• Completing other engineering/administrative duties as required
