Job summary

The City and County of Denver is seeking a Contract Administrator for the DOTI Sidewalk Program to manage end-to-end contracts in a fast-paced public-sector setting. This is a full-time, limited-term role based in Denver, with a hybrid schedule combining on-site work at the Wellington Webb Building and community engagement.

You’ll develop RFQ/P documents, ensure compliance, coordinate with the City Attorney and City Council, and maintain contract files, tracking and invoicing through the term.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in specified fields.
  • Three years of professional experience in contract negotiation, contract administration, or related analysis.
  • Education/Experience equivalency may substitute for minimum experience.
  • Driver's License required to operate in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Implements procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Collaborates with internal customers and City agencies to develop contracts.
  • Provides a high level of service and collaborates to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Develops procurement documents for RFQ/P for construction and professional services.
  • Procures construction projects via Hard Bid delivery method.
  • Acts as liaison to the City Attorney’s Office and coordinates approvals.
  • Maintains contracts end-to-end, including tracking, invoicing, and archiving.
  • Recommends contract renewals, extensions, and amendments.
