Responsibilities

• Coordinate public relations activities to inform County employees, citizens, and area media.
• Serve as spokesperson for the Commissioners' Court when assigned.
• Develop and implement county public information policies and procedures.
• Plan, write and edit news releases, newsletters, and informational materials.
• Coordinate press conferences, public meetings, and media events.
• Arrange tours of County facilities and other outreach activities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
