The East Bay Regional Park District seeks a Human Resources Technician to support seasonal hiring. Based at the Peralta Oaks Administration Building in Oakland, CA, this temporary 28-hour-per-week role will last up to six months and involves detailed HR duties, HRIS lead responsibilities, and collaboration with IT and Finance-Payroll.

The ideal candidate has public sector HR experience, NEOGOV familiarity, and strong data, analytical, and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in business or public administration, or closely related field.
• Three years of general human resources experience, including one year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Public sector HR experience is desirable; substitution available with a Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex HR and administrative duties under supervision, lead HRIS-related tasks, and coordinate with IT and Finance-Payroll.
• Handle confidential employee and labor relations documentation.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and Board materials; maintain HR records and data systems.
