Job summary

Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority seeks a seasoned Property Manager to oversee physical condition, management, financial performance, and quality of life for residents in HUD-regulated housing. The role may involve cross-training across various public housing sites and LIHTC properties.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring timely leasing, enforcing leases, handling rent and certs, and maintaining compliance with HUD regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree and at least 4 years of property management experience, including 1 year in supervision.
• LIHTC or multi-family property management experience is desirable; equivalent combos considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing to maintain high occupancy.
• Train and supervise staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Enforce lease terms and handle notices and evictions as needed.
• Review rent rolls and reconcile tenant accounts monthly.
• Conduct UPCS and other required inspections and ensure compliance with HUD/PHAS.
