Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with two years of relevant administrative/financial experience.
• Familiarity with HUD regulations and housing inspection processes preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related computer programs required.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with the public and performs receptionist duties to provide Public Housing information.
• Interviews applicants seeking admission and verifies required information.
• Conducts annual tenant re-examinations and verifies income data for continued eligibility.
• Assigns applicants to Public Housing units per approved admission policies.
• Briefs tenants upon admission regarding housing rules, maintenance responsibilities and rent procedures.
• Prepares and maintains tenant files, leases, applications, income documentation and eligibility records.
• Conducts annual inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards for decent, safe, and sanitary living conditions.
• Prepares operational reports for Board, Executive Director and HUD.
