Job summary

DHA, Housing Solutions for North Texas is seeking a Leasing Professional II to interview applicants, verify eligibility for public housing programs, and maintain client files in North Texas.

The role involves computing tenant rents, guiding residents through leases, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with property management. A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience are required, with Rent Calculation Certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or related field.
• 2 years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Rent Calculation Certification within 6 months of appointment.
• Valid Texas State Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of HUD housing program regulations and eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greets clients and collects data within scope of authority.
• Conducts eligibility interviews for public housing programs.
• Computes tenant rent and determines eligibility.
• Maintains client files and responds to inquiries in writing or by phone.
• Explains DHA programs and maintains confidentiality of records.
