Job summary

Prince William County Government seeks a seasoned Emergency Preparedness Training Lead to develop and deliver comprehensive public health emergency preparedness training for PWHD staff, MRC volunteers, and partners.

You will maintain a multi-year training and exercise plan, support the Integrated Preparedness Plan, and ensure grant documentation meets PHEP standards. You will also coordinate with local jurisdictions and provide Just-In-Time Training during activations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 5 years of related experience in public health, epidemiology, emergency management, adult education, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive emergency preparedness training.
• Maintain a multi-year training and exercise plan and ensure documentation meets PHEP standards.
• Provide Just-In-Time Training to support public health response operations.
