Job summary

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is seeking a Training Specialist III to coordinate statewide health care and public health emergency preparedness training and exercises. This role supports federally mandated programs and collaborates with hospitals, local health departments, and coalitions to strengthen emergency capabilities across Colorado.

The position requires six years of experience in training coordination or related fields, plus education in public health or emergency

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant experience coordinating training or exercise programs/projects in Public Health, Healthcare, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Homeland Security, or Emergency Management.
• A combination of related education in Public Health, Emergency Preparedness, Behavioral Sciences and/or relevant experience in coordinating training or exercise programs/projects in Public Health, Healthcare, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Homeland Security, or Emergency Management equal to six (6) years.
