Ingham County seeks a Community Health Program Coordinator to conduct health assessments, plan outreach, and serve as a liaison to coalitions. You will use health data to identify unmet needs and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Under supervision, you will engage with community partners, translate research into accessible information, and coordinate community-based projects to improve health and quality of life for county residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Business Administration, Public Administration or Public Health is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a program facilitator or policy developer/advocate is required.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills by engaging, interacting and working with all individuals to ensure clarity and understanding.

Responsabilités

• Conducts community health-related assessment, planning and outreach activities with individuals and organizations to determine health status and unmet needs.
• Acts as liaison to community organizations and coalitions and may lead collaborations.
• Develops evidence-based programs and strategies to improve health and quality of life in the County.
