The City of Bloomington, MN Public Health Division seeks a leader to guide emergency preparedness, community resilience, and health improvement efforts across Bloomington, Edina, and Richfield. You will oversee SHIP grants, budgets, and cross‑department collaboration to strengthen readiness and equity in our communities.

Leadership roles include managing a team, coordinating with the city Emergency Manager, and reporting on program impact and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in public health, nursing, or a related field with three years of relevant experience.
• At least two years of experience in leadership positions supervising staff and programs.
• Experience overseeing grants, budgets, and grant deliverables.
• Understanding of emergency preparedness, risk reduction, and recovery strategies.

Responsabilités

• Lead Emergency Preparedness & SHIP staff and oversee community resilience initiatives.
• Oversee grant budgets, workplans, invoicing, reporting, and MDH reporting.
• Coordinate with the Emergency Manager on planning and response.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support program initiatives.
