Job summary

The City of Bloomington Public Health Division seeks a leader to drive emergency preparedness, community resilience, and health improvement across Bloomington, Edina, and Richfield. You will supervise staff, manage grants, and coordinate cross‑sector partnerships to reduce health inequities and enhance readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field with three years of relevant experience.
• At least two years of leadership experience in nonprofit health or public health organizations, overseeing staff.
• Experience overseeing grants, managing budgets, and meeting grant deliverables.
• Experience working in the public health sector for a state, county, or municipal government.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Prepared and Thriving Communities Team.
• Oversee grant management, budgets, and reporting for EP and SHIP.
• Advance equity, resilience, and collaboration across Bloomington, Edina, and Richfield.
