Job summary

The City of Bloomington Public Health Division seeks a dynamic leader to guide emergency preparedness, community resilience, and health improvement efforts across Bloomington, Edina, and Richfield. You will supervise the Prepared and Thriving Communities team, manage grants and budgets, coordinate with city partners, and advance equity in programs while reporting to the division.

This exempt, full-time role offers opportunities to shape policy and partnerships that reduce risk and improve health

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least three years in leadership roles.
• Experience overseeing grants, budgets, and reporting.
• Two years supervising staff and coordinating programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Emergency Preparedness and SHIP program initiatives and staff.
• Oversee grant-related activities including budgets, invoicing, and MDH reporting.
• Coordinate with Edina and Richfield on community resilience projects.
• Build partnerships and provide policy guidance to strengthen health outcomes.
