Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a SME I/ Program Manager to carry out a broad array of program management and administrative activities for DHQP Information Management Support. The role involves coordinating IT and analytics contractor projects, developing plans, maintaining schedules, and ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and outcomes.

A Bachelor's in Public Health or related field is required; 1–2 years federal contract coordination experience is preferred, with Master’s

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Excellent judgment and decision-making; able to multitask independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; well organized and detail oriented.
• Experience in public health or related program leadership.
• Familiarity with project management systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage IT and analytic contractor projects for the Surveillance Branch.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and WBS.
• Coordinate activities across contractor teams, staff, SMEs, and stakeholders.
• Track milestones, deliverables, risks and issues; provide status updates.
• Facilitate planning sessions, status meetings, and requirements discussions.
• Identify and track risks, issues, dependencies; coordinate mitigations.
• Coordinate contractor resources across Surveillance Branch IT and analytic projects.
• Monitor progress and address risks to timelines.
• Maintain project documentation and status reports.
• Gather and clarify Surveillance Branch business and technical requirements.
• Promote clear communication among project owners, contractor teams, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate changes to scope, schedules, or requirements with impacts on resources.
• Support resource planning and identify staffing needs and gaps.
• Assist with deliverable reviews and closure actions.
• Prepare status information highlighting milestones, risks, and decisions.
• Coordinate project transition and closeout activities, including knowledge transfer.
