Job summary

The State of Vermont Department of Health is seeking an experienced Public Health Program Manager I to lead and oversee programs supporting substance use treatment programs. This role focuses on program development, compliance, and grant management to ensure high-quality treatment services for Vermonters.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are needed to facilitate coordinating multiple activities across many stakeholders are necessary.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health or related field required with leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related fields required with programmatic experience.
• Two+ years of experience as Public Health Specialist II or equivalent leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee programs supporting substance use treatment programs.
• Develop, ensure compliance, and manage grants for treatment services.
• Coordinate with community partners, service providers, and agencies to improve outcomes.
