Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a Prevention Specialist to provide strategic leadership for substance use prevention across Rutland and Addison Counties under the VPLO grant. You will work with community agencies to lead coalition-building, develop communication and implementation plans, and oversee activities funded by the grant.

Budgeting, reporting, and documentation are integral parts of the role.

Qualifications

• This position requires a bachelor's degree in public health or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of community experience in public health program development and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention expertise and strategic leadership for Vermont Prevention Lead Organization grant funded activities.
• Coordinate activities with community agencies and lead coalition-building efforts.
• Develop and implement collaborative communication and implementation plans.
• Lead reporting, budgeting, documentation, and adherence to grant requirements.
