Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field with four years’ experience managing public health programs.
• Two years of direct supervisory experience in a related role.
• Relevant education/experience may substitute as allowed by policy.
• Experience documenting qualifications in applications as required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership in design, development, and execution of public health programs.
• Shapes program strategies based on needs assessments and public health best practices.
• Collaborates with Senior Leadership to align programs with organizational goals.
• Leads cross‑functional teams to plan and execute programs on time and within budget.
• Ensures program activities, resource allocation, and staff coordination are effective.
• Monitors expenditures, grant compliance, and performance to ensure sustainability.
• Identifies and secures grant funding to support expansion of programs.
• Fosters an inclusive environment and collaborates with partners to leverage resources.
• Engages with the community to gather input and support initiatives.
