Public Health Program Director Description

• South College Online seeks candidates for a full-time Public Health Program Director and faculty member. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a terminal degree in a related field, and preference will be given to candidates who have successfully taught courses in the online format.
• The position is online remote and will report directly to the Department Chair of Public Health online.
• The Program Director will teach sixteen (16) college-level courses per year covering including, but not limited to, public health courses and/or health science courses (e.g. introduction to public health, health administration, epidemiology, biostatistics, community health, health science leadership and research).

Requirements

Education:

• Terminal degree in Public Health required.

Experience:

• Applicants must have a terminal degree in Public Health with successful completion of a minimum of 18 hours of graduate coursework in subject matter field of Public Health.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering student learning and success in a virtual environment.
• Preference will be given to applicants with prior successful online teaching.
