Job summary

The Georgia Department of Public Health seeks a Patient Financial Coordinator to support Ryan White eligibility and enrollment for ADAP and HICP programs. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will process applications, assure compliance with program requirements, and help clients access financial assistance.

Responsibilities include benefits counseling, assisting with Open Enrollment, and maintaining CareWare and related systems to monitor eligibility and deadlines in a fast-paced public

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience, or 1 year at Admin Assistant 1 level or equivalent.
• This position may close at any time after a satisfactory applicant pool is identified.
• Must meet Ryan White program requirements and related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide benefits counseling and certify Ryan White eligibility for ADAP/HICP and other programs.
• Assist clients with enrolling in healthcare plans during Open Enrollment.
• Maintain and monitor CareWare, DataRx, and related systems for eligibility and compliance.
• Coordinate insurance enrollment, premiums, co-pays, and changes with carriers and providers.
• Perform data entry and documentation in electronic health records and databases.
• Provide timely follow-up with clients and staff on certification deadlines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to refer clients to services.
