Job summary
Southeast Health District - District 9-2 is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care in community health programs including Women’s Health, Child Health, and Adult Health. Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing; completion of a PHN course within one year of hire; current Georgia RN license and CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care per nurse protocols.
- Deliver community health services across Women’s Health, Child Health, and Adult Health programs.
- Assess client condition, develop care plans, administer treatments and educate clients.
- Refer clients to social/health services as needed.
- Record observations and responses to treatment; ensure vaccine protocols are followed.
- Administer vaccines during events and mass clinics; comply with HIPAA and data entry.
- Support the WIC Breastfeeding Program; maintain breast pump inventories and eWIC records.
- Receive shipments, track clients, and ensure proper pump issuance and cleaning; perform other duties.
