Job summary

Dallas County seeks a registered nurse to supervise program activities, plan and ensure quality services, and educate health care providers and the public. This role also serves as a liaison with outside agencies, coordinating health programs and meetings at local, state, and national levels.

Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, three years of relevant work experience with at least one year in supervision, and Texas RN licensure. Travel to various sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Three years of professional work experience, including one year supervisory.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and support staff and program activities.
• Interprets and implements agency policies and program goals.
• Provides consultation and education to health care providers and the public.
• Coordinates health programs and liaises with other agencies.
• Identifies trends, prepares reports, and participates in budget processes.
