Qualifications

  • Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university or in a business/data processing/IT school.
  • Enrollment verification or transcript must be attached with application.
  • Duties include data entry, interviews and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews for STEC, Salmonella, and other infections after case identification.
  • Enter data into surveillance systems (INEDSS and REDCap) and support entry into NORS/SEDRIC.
  • Assist with case testing coordination during enteric disease investigations.
  • Participate in follow-up investigations including multistate outbreak work.
  • Compile, tabulate, and analyze data using Excel, SAS, or R; prepare studies/reports.
  • Create documents and manage databases using Microsoft Office.
