Job summary

The Georgia Department of Public Health is seeking a GHBS Project Coordinator to steward the HIV Behavioral Surveillance program within the Division of Epidemiology. Qualifications

Minimum: High school diploma/GED with 10 years of professional-level experience OR a comparable combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Experience in HIV or STD surveillance activities; knowledge of HIV/AIDS trends; proficiency with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

Provide overall project management and coordination for program operations.
Oversee recruitment planning, event scheduling, and maintenance of project supplies and equipment.
Coordinate staff access, operational systems, and daily project reporting requirements.
Oversee program monitoring, data management, reporting, and quality improvement activities.
Coordinate HIV testing logistics, laboratory processes, and linkage-to-care procedures.
Supervise and support project staff through hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
