Job summary

DC Health (The District of Columbia Department of Health), HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD and TB (HAHSTA) Care and Treatment Division, seeks a seasoned manager to lead program officer staff and supervise grant management for Ryan White Part A and B.

The incumbent will monitor program performance, develop strategic plans, oversee RFAs, subrecipient awards, and ensure compliance with regulations while strengthening partnerships to expand access to quality health services for residents of the Washington,

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of specialized experience at CS-12 level in public health or related healthcare settings.
• Preferred: a Master’s in Healthcare Administration or Public Health and 5 years of progressive public health experience.
• Licensure: none required.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic timetables for subgrant cycles and milestones.
• Manages evaluation tools for program implementation (service delivery, financial, staffing).
• Oversees RFAs, subrecipient awards, monitoring, and closeout.
• Reviews proposals for responsiveness and serves on technical review committees.
• Coordinates technical assistance and monitoring with Ryan White Part A and B programs.
