Georgia’s Fulton County Board of Health is seeking a qualified PH Envir Compl Specialist 1 to inspect facilities, investigate health-related complaints, and assist with environmental health reviews in the North Fulton District (Alpharetta). Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 27 semester or 40 quarter hours in laboratory sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology, geology, physics).
• Requires ability to synthesize data and apply management principles.
• Ability to function in managerial capacity and exercise judgment in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect food service establishments, public pools, tourist accommodations, body art, and onsite sewage systems.
• Investigate complaints related to rodents and mosquitoes within regulated facilities.
• Assist with plan reviews and enforce compliance when necessary.
