Job summary

Select Source International is seeking an Emergency Planning Specialist to support the development and coordination of public health emergency plans, policies, training, and procedures for response and recovery from health hazards and emergencies.

The role emphasizes planning and plan writing, incident command center support, and training/exercise development, providing clerical and operational support across agencies and partners involved in public health readiness and response.

Responsibilities

• Provides clerical, operational, and logistical support in emergency response training, exercises, and actual events utilizing the principles of HSEEP, NIMS and ICS.
• Reviews development protocols for planning and response gaps and documents possible solutions with internal and external partners.
• Collects emergency response information for public health events and tracks event information to support EOC/ICC activities.
• Coordinates delivery of ongoing training and exercises on response plans to MCDPH, partners, and volunteers.
