Job summary

Austin Animal Services is seeking a position to support the Community Cat Coordinator and Programs Manager. You will help oversee volunteer operations, assist with SNR/TNR placement pathways, coordinate community partner collaboration, and handle administrative tasks.

Under supervision, you will assess community health education needs, prepare programs, and participate in public information and education initiatives. Strong emphasis on coordination and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and two years of related experience.
• Related experience may substitute for education up to four years.

Responsibilities

• Write informational reports.
• Refer citizens to appropriate agency or program.
• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for projects and activities.
• Speak as city representative before public groups.
• Conduct needs assessments.
• Evaluate programs for effectiveness and goals.
• Evaluate needs assessment data to determine course of action (training, new program).
• Plan and develop survey instruments and methodologies for use.
• Develop and conduct public information and education programs.
• Design visual presentation materials.
