Job summary

DC Health is seeking a seasoned manager to lead the HIV/AIDS program data management and quality improvement efforts in the Care and Treatment Division. The role oversees staff, develops evaluation strategies, and ensures delivery of high-quality public health services in the Washington, DC EMA.

The incumbent manages data collection operations for Ryan White programs, collaborates with surveillance teams, and drives strategic plan development to enhance program performance and equity in care

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CS-12 level, including program management, staff supervision, quality improvement, and partnership development in public health or related healthcare settings.
• Preferred: A Master’s in Healthcare Administration or Public Health and five years of progressively responsible professional experience in the public health field.
• Licensure: None required.

Responsibilities

• Develops data management strategies for assessing performance and effectiveness of HIV/AIDS health services programs, including data collection and reporting.
• Creates strategic timetables for data management, tools, training, approvals, and milestones; manages data collection and evaluation systems.
• Assembles and analyzes data on KPIs to inform program improvements and drafts data quality policies; facilitates changes to data collection and governance.
