Job summary

Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst I to execute data management and help desk activities for the NHSN Surveillance Branch. The role involves handling approximately 200 email tickets daily, assisting facilities with NHSN enrollment, and providing Level 2 triage support to IPs and epidemiologists.

You will contribute to documentation, perform system updates, and support CDC response exercises under the DHQP Team Lead, while ensuring adherence to public health protocols and

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.
• Experience following government procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 help desk support for NHSN-related tasks and emails.
• Assist users with obtaining digital credentials via SAMS.
• Enroll facilities in NHSN and triage issues to SMEs as needed.
• Migrate email ticket management and maintain user support documentation.
• Support NHSN Dialysis Event module users and educate on CDC definitions and data entry.
• Offer Level 2 triage support to Infection Preventionists / Epidemiologists.
• Participate in CDC response activities and training exercises as directed.
