Job summary

Florida Department of Health’s Community Health-Overdose Data to Action program seeks a Data Analyst who will manage and analyze data on overdose prevention activities. The role requires building data collection instruments, ensuring data quality, and exporting datasets for providers weekly.

You will develop dashboards and contribute to CDC reporting and evaluator requests. The position supports contract monitoring, program evaluation, and data-driven decision making, with on-site work across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, statistics, data science/analytics, public health with quantitative concentration, or closely related field.
• Experience with data analysis tools (R, Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI).
• Experience developing dashboards/visualizations and preparing analytic reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage, analyze, and report data related to overdose prevention activities.
• Develop and maintain data collection instruments and ensure data quality across systems.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support contract monitoring, program evaluation, and CDC reporting.
