Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to accelerate the Health & Human Services/Public Health vertical within the State & Local Government practice. You will design scalable, secure cloud architectures and partner with AWS teams to translate mission priorities into scalable go-to-market motions.

You will lead architecture sessions, engage in interoperability efforts like HL7/FHIR, and help shape roadmap through technical and business strategy aligned with public health

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor on Health & Human Services and Public Health solutions for state and local government agencies.
• Define and drive technical business strategy for the Public Health segment with the BDM.
• Lead architecture design sessions, deep-dives, and POC engagements for complex opportunities (e.g., HL7/FHIR interoperability).
• Provide expert guidance on data platforms, analytics/ML, GenAI, and secure, compliant architectures.
