Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to accelerate Health & Human Services Public Health initiatives within the State & Local Government practice. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted technical advisor on Health & Human Services and Public Health solutions for state and local government agencies.
• Define and drive technical business strategy in partnership with the Public Health BDM.
• Lead architecture design sessions, deep-dives, and PoC engagements for interoperabilities and population health analytics.
• Provide expert guidance on data platforms, analytics, ML, GenAI, and secure architectures meeting public sector requirements (HIPAA, FedRAMP, GovRAMP).
• Partner with account teams on strategic planning to accelerate sales cycles and improve solution accuracy.
• Present at AWS events and industry conferences on topics relevant to public health.
• Create and publish external content (blogs, whitepapers, demos, workshops) showcasing best practices.
• Obtain SA Associate and SA Pro certifications within specified timelines.
