Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services, LLC (GPS) is seeking a Public Health Analyst III to support CDC program implementation in the Atlanta area, with opportunities for telework as contract needs require.

The role focuses on assessing program capacities, developing TA frameworks, and supporting grants management, outbreak response, and NOFO processes. You will collaborate with federal and nonfederal partners, travel within the U.S., and contribute to protecting public health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting public health programs, including capacity building and program implementation.
• Ability to develop technical assistance frameworks, tools, guides and toolkits for program use.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience supporting grants management, NOFO logistics, and recipient engagement.
• Ability to build effective relationships with federal and nonfederal partners.
• Willingness to participate in outbreak-response activities and travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assess programs' capacities to implement prevention and intervention strategies.
• Collaborate to develop TA frameworks, tools and resources for use by branches and divisions.
• Develop actionable recommendations to improve program performance.
• Create and test TA resources (guides, toolkits) for organizational and workforce improvements.
• Participate in outbreak responses and fieldwork; occasional travel within the U.S.
• Join Center, Branch and team meetings.
• Assist with funding packages and Grants Management Module tasks.
• Provide logistics for NOFOs and related reviews.
• Support webinars and recipient calls tied to NOFOs.
