Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services, LLC (GPS) specializes in supporting CDC public health missions with project and program management expertise. The Program Manager II will lead governance, change management, dashboards, and communications, ensuring timely delivery of emerging priorities.

The role is based in Atlanta, GA with potential telework as contract needs dictate, offering a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of documented experience working with CDC, federal, or related public health entities.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, science, public health administration, policy, or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CDC Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a feedback loop to identify and prioritize emerging public health threats and their potential impacts on public health outcomes.
• Develop and implement a repeatable approach for emerging priority strategy development.
• Create strategic communications and engage stakeholders to support decision-making as projects emerge and are implemented.
• Support program planning, transition, and integration efforts related to emerging priorities by developing tools to support project management, change management, and process improvement (e.g., SOPs, governance structures, tracking systems).
• Identify projects, activities, and functions that would benefit from enhanced project management support.
• Develop project management tools to standardize the approach to projects both large and small.
• Develop and update dashboards to monitor projects and identify project risks.
• Develop change management and transition plans.
• Assess project management training needs and develop training plans, training materials, and job aids.
• Provide workgroup support.
• Create and manage a production calendar for major events and communication products.
• Work with leadership to develop and track deadlines for major events and communication products.
• Track and manage the status of communication clearance.
