Job summary

The Coastal Health District of the Georgia Department of Public Health seeks a Health Aide to support lab and clinical tasks in a community health setting. You will assist with specimen collection, vital signs, documentation, and patient care under guidance of clinicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in health services delivery is preferred.
• Possession of a health-related license or certificate is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepares clients for procedures and assists clinicians during exams.
• Performs various laboratory tests (e.g., hematocrits, pregnancy tests) and documents results.
• Takes vital signs and assists with clinic flow and patient care.
• Maintains records for audits and enters laboratory results and orders accurately.
