Job summary

Texas Regional Bank is seeking a Public Funds Account Administrator to grow and support the bank’s public fund portfolio. You will open, close and maintain accounts, answer customer questions, and coordinate with Treasury Management for timely processing while communicating with government entities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with banking experience in new accounts or lending.
• Basic keyboarding, 40–50 wpm, and office equipment skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to concentrate and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales and service orientation with professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service and support for public fund relationships.
• Open, close and maintain accounts (checking, savings, CDs).
• Coordinate with Treasury Management and operations for timely processing.
• Assist with bid proposals and end-of-month reporting.
• Monitor collateral and compliance with BSA/OFAC/AML regulations.
• Support loan portfolio servicing through pre-approval, closing and post-closing stages.
• Assist Private Placement Advisor and loan officers with documentation and servicing duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
