Job summary

Texas Regional Bank is seeking a Public Funds Account Administrator to support and maintain the bank's public funds accounts, coordinate with Treasury Management, and ensure compliance across all related activities. The role also provides administrative support to the Private Placement Loan team, handling loan documents and customer inquiries.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and banking experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of banking experience in new accounts or lending.
• Basic keyboarding, typing 40-50 wpm, and office equipment skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Public Funds portfolio: opening, closing and maintenance of accounts; provide client service and respond to questions.
• Coordinate with Treasury Management, deposit operations and staff to ensure timely processing.
• Assist with preparation of bid proposals and end-of-month reporting; monitor collateral position.
• Provide secondary support for credit card services and assist with depository contracts.
• Support Private Placement Loan Admin: pull credit reports, collect financial data and prepare loan packages.
• Maintain loan transaction files and coordinate with Loan Servicing for compliance reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and work with lending team on new loan opportunities.
