Job summary

Texas Regional Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to provide both Teller and New Account services with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service and a positive banking experience. The role includes opening/closing personal and business accounts, handling teller transactions, cross-selling products, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of banking experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus at least one year banking experience (new accounts, teller, or lending).
• At least six months of cash handling experience.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with computer systems including typing and 10-key calculator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Open and close personal and business accounts; handle new account documentation.
• Process teller transactions, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash handling.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Maintain daily general ledger entries and assist with vault functions as needed.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and resolve account questions.
