Job summary

Bernalillo County is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator in Albuquerque to plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of county events. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration or related field.
• One year experience as a special event coordinator.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee County events including community and signature events.
• Recruit, screen, and manage event vendors and ensure permits and licenses.
• Coordinate logistics for event setup, tear-down, and volunteer activities.
• Manage contracts, venues, registrations, and performer payments.
• Advise departments on budgeting, logistics, and presentation methods.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to improve future programming.
