Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, graphic arts, digital media, videography, or related field.
• At least one year coordinating, planning, and managing public relations/publicity campaigns or related activities.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and possess a driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and event management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing, communication and public events supporting the Commission's mission.
• Coordinate agency events and marketing activities with internal teams and ensure deadlines and brand standards.
• Write, edit and proofread content for print, digital and social media.
• Support planning, execution and evaluation of marketing/communication efforts across formats.
• Research, plan and manage agency events including sport shows and state fair exhibits.
