Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
• Up to six months of related experience in internal communications; news, broadcasting, and print media; or marketing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with design or multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Ability to use e-mail and the Internet.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit and publish strategic communications and marketing content for Michigan 4-H and the Michigan 4-H Foundation.
• Maintain digital platforms and content including websites, newsletters, and social channels.
• Support events, donor engagement, and fundraising communications.
• Collaborate with MSU Extension units and external partners to align messaging and strategies.
• Coordinate with vendors, photographers and designers for production and distribution.
