Job summary

Queens District Attorney's Office in New York is seeking experienced prosecutors for our Public Corruption Bureau. The bureau investigates crimes by public servants and related individuals, and collaborates with NYPD IAB and other agencies to safeguard the public from corruption.

Responsibilities include prosecuting offenders, guiding complex investigations, and drafting legal documents such as wiretaps and warrants.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active New York State Bar in good standing.
• Experience handling all aspects of criminal investigations and prosecutions.
• Excellent writing skills and experience drafting search warrants.
• Grand jury and felony trial experience.
• Extensive knowledge of New York Penal and Criminal Procedure Laws.
• Ability to devise creative solutions to investigatory and legal issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute offenders in public corruption matters.
• Manage complex investigations and provide legal advice to law enforcement partners.
• Draft various legal processes, including wiretaps, CSOs, GPS warrants, and other documents.
• Handle all phases of litigation except appeals.
