Job summary

LSI Industries Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support the finance team at our corporate location.

This role reports to the Vice President of Accounting and helps with the month-end close, GAAP financial reporting, and external compliance for a public company. Key duties include preparing SEC filings (10-Q/10-K), managing lease accounting, reconciling general ledgers, supporting audits, and assisting with equity compensation, tax provisions, and ERP system issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license and SEC reporting experience preferred.
• At least 5+ years of accounting roles with increasing responsibility.
• Excellent Excel and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file SEC forms (10-Q, 10-K) and annual Proxy Statement.
• Administer lease accounting software and related processes.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and integrity of financial statements.
• Prepare account reconciliations using Blackline or similar tool.
• Support month-end close, Consolidated Financial Statements, and tax provisions.
