Job summary

LSI Industries Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accountant at our Cincinnati, Ohio corporate location. The role supports GAAP financial reporting, month-end close, and external reporting in a publicly traded company environment.

The position collaborates with the VP of Accounting, Tax Director, and General Counsel, ensuring internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance while coordinating with ERP teams and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license preferred and/or experience in SEC financial statements.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards or Oracle) and Blackline reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K) and the annual Proxy Statement.
• Assist with month-end close and consolidation of financial statements under GAAP.
• Maintain ledger integrity and perform account reconciliations using Blackline.
• Coordinate with Tax Director on tax provision and tax returns.
• Support external auditors and internal audit to ensure SOX compliance and remediation of gaps.
