Job summary

LSI Industries Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role reports to the Vice President of Accounting and supports daily accounting, month-end close, and GAAP financial reporting for a public company.

Key duties include SEC filings, reconciliation work, and collaboration with the Tax Director and external auditors. A CPA and 5+ years of accounting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA license and/or SEC reporting experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience and at least 5 years of accounting progressively responsible roles.
• Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills required; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file SEC documents including Form 10-Q, 10-K, and Proxy Statements.
• Maintain lease accounting software and ensure GAAP compliance in reporting.
• Ensure integrity of general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close activities and Consolidated Financial Statements.
• Support tax provisions and preparation of tax returns as needed.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal teams for SOX compliance and data gathering.
