Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Vice President, Accounting and Corporate Controller to lead global accounting operations in Bedford, MA. This senior role owns SEC reporting, US GAAP compliance, and SOX controls, partnering with the CFO and Legal to enable a scalable launch and growth.

The ideal candidate has CPA, 15+ years in finance, Big 4, and public company experience, with life sciences or biotechnology familiarity. Competitive compensation is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience with leadership.
• Public company experience with SEC reporting and US GAAP.
• Experience supporting commercial launch and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Experience building scalable finance teams in a high-growth environment.
• Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
• Life sciences/biotech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting operations for commercial-scale operations.
• Establish governance and close process standards.
• Own SEC filings and US GAAP compliance.
• Partner with CFO and Legal on disclosures and Audit Committee reporting.
• Serve as the senior technical accounting authority on complex transactions.
• Strengthen SOX internal controls framework.
• Oversee inventory accounting with 3PL partners.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance and treasury support.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors.
• Lead finance readiness for commercial launch.
• Build a high-performing finance organization.
