Job summary

A leading retail company is seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee the general accounting function, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with regulations. This role requires extensive GL accounting experience, supervisory skills, and a CPA certification. The Corporate Controller will lead the accounting team, manage financial reporting, and oversee inventory accounting. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Quincy, MA.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of GL accounting experience.
• Solid supervisory experience is needed.
• Must hold a CPA certification.
• Experience in public accounting or at a publicly traded company is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial reporting to stakeholders including regulatory bodies.
• Manage the preparation of SEC reporting on Form 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
• Lead interactions with external auditors on accounting matters.
• Manage the monthly accounting close and reporting processes.
