Role Overview

We are seeking a Controller to lead core accounting operations and support continued growth of the organization. This role will oversee the accounting function, manage and develop the team, and partner closely with leadership on financial reporting, controls, and system initiatives. Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close and financial reporting
• Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Own and support ERP systems, including enhancements and implementation projects
• Partner cross-functionally on process improvements and scaling initiatives

Qualifications

• CPA required
• Public accounting foundation (Big 4 or national/regional firm strongly preferred)
• Strong ERP experience; prior system implementation or optimization exposure required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience

Salary & Benefits

Base salary: $140,000 – $180,000, plus annual bonus. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.
