Our Client, a rapidly growing hospitality and entertainment organization headquartered in Colorado Springs, seeks a Controller to lead accounting across multiple entities. Reporting to the CFO, you will strengthen controls, oversee close processes, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting in a public-company environment.

Candidates bring 10+ years of full-cycle accounting, public-company experience, ERP proficiency, and a proven ability to scale accounting operations while building a strong

Qualifications

• Public-company accounting experience required.
• Significant full-cycle accounting experience.
• Strong month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close experience.
• Experience accounting for multiple companies, subsidiaries, or related entities.
• Experience preparing and consolidating multiple financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience developing and maintaining internal accounting controls.
• Strong ERP and accounting systems experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Approximately 10+ years of full accounting-cycle experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external reporting.
• Prepare, review, and consolidate financial statements across multiple companies and operating entities.
• Own and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and technical accounting matters.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and mentorship to the team.
