Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, seeks a seasoned FP&A professional to own the Public Cloud revenue forecast and lead OpEx/headcount planning for a fast-growing organization.

You will build complex financial models, analyze profitability across segments, and collaborate with accounting on billing and revenue recognition. The role requires 4+ years in FP&A and strong Excel skills, in a hybrid SF Bay Area setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, GTM/sales finance, or consulting with cloud/AI infra or SaaS focus.
• Experience forecasting revenue in consumption-based models.
• Strong financial modeling skills and ability to interpret statements for strategic decisions.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient Excel skills and experience with financial software systems.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple projects.
• Clear written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable partnering with senior commercial and technical teams.
• Team player with strong work ethic and continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to work in ambiguity with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Own Public Cloud revenue forecast across on-demand, reserved, and committed-use offerings.
• Build driver-based models linking capacity, utilization, and pricing to revenue.
• Forecast acquisition, expansion, contraction, and churn by product line.
• Deliver monthly revenue forecasts with variance analysis and commentary.
• Partner with Accounting on billing, consumption reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
